I am always inspired with any new plant introductions that come from innovative horticultural specialists. This year I wanted to give you the scoop on a few fabulous gems to add to your garden. Ask for them at your local garden center.
Hydrangeas are the stars in most gardens.
Invincibelle Limetta, Mini Mauvette and Wee White hydrangeas are perfect additions for the smaller garden.
Weigelas are another favourite classic shrub for those avid gardeners who want lots of bloom. So ask for Czechmark Trilogy, Sunnyside Up and Twopink weigelas. Beautiful and again great in smaller spaces.
For the smokebush fans out there the new introduction Winecraft Black is sure to peak your interest at a size of 4 feet x 4 feet.
Roses are a generational favourite and so consider the Drift rose Popcorn Drift. It is a soft blush pink at only 45 cm x 75 cm.
The Oso Easy series of roses has the new Hot Paprika with magenta petals and orange throat. Just enough punch to create a tropical feel to any sunny corner or center stage of your 'living room'.
Happy planting my friends!
Cheers Kim
